What a Weekend

Speak No Evil, See No Evil, Hear No Evil
Nik, nephew Eric, niece's boyfriend, Conner
What a crazy busy weekend we just had. Dave's brother got married on Saturday. We had the rehersal party on Friday night in Brantford and then the rehersal party back here at Dave's parents house. This was our first late night (about 12:00). Brad was pretty tired and it really showed on Saturday at the wedding. He was pretty much a grump for most of the evening. The wedding was back in Brantford again, and it was about 1:00 when we got home. The way Brad was acting, we were lucky to have made it that long.
Then, on Sunday, we decided to head to my sister's place, in Elmira, for Thanksgiving dinner, thinking that we wouldn't stay too late. Well, that thought went out the window. My brother-in-law pulled out his poker table and we stayed up until 1:30 playing Texas Hold'Em Poker (got home around 2:00). It was my second time ever playing and I cleaned up! Probably a case of beginner's luck, I'm sure. Maybe by the time my company Christmas party gets here (complete with mock casino) I might be ready to actually sit at the poker table. I am surprised that I enjoyed it so much.

Monday was a little more laid back. But then we were right back to the festivities on Tuesday with a birthday get together for Dave's dad.
I am happy to say that tonight I have nothing major going on. I just might go work out (and try to work off the damage I did with all the events this weekend).
